European economic delegation press conference in Damascus

The Follow- up Committee's Chairman of the Social and Economic European Committee ( EuroMed ) Yacumina Casina has referred that the committee is depending on a joint strategy to enhance the cooperation among the EU member states and the Mediterranean Countries.

In a press conference in Damascus yesterday, Mrs. Casina stressed that Syria is an important partner to EU, so, it is necessary to accelerate signing the partnership agreement with her and enhancing relations with popular and vocational organizations in the Syrian community, and expressed will to back Syria in the economic and social levels.
