Saudi reformer joins Saad al-Faqih movement in London
Abdul Aziz al-Shanbari, one of the advocates of political reforms in Saudi Arabia has joined the Islamic movement for reforms which is led by the Saudi opposition member Saad al-Faqih in Britain.
Al-Shanbari told the Qatari al-Jazeera TV yesterday that his movement which is named "the movement of al-Sharif Muhammad Aba Nami 3rd " is placing all its material and moral potentials under the disposal of al-Sharif. He said that the kingdom will be witnessing a strong collapse because of the deteriorating political and economic conditions.
He explained he had decided to join al-Islah movement because al-Faqih "represents the heard voice of the nation," noting that he has been supporting the leader of this movement since 10 years.
Al-Shanbari said that he does not represent a party, rather a trend asking for comprehensive reform, adding that the Kingdom "will be witnessing a collapse and it does not listen to persons like me and political reform will not be made under the situation that the Kingdom continues to mislead the public opinion, internally and externally."
Abdul Aziz al-Shanbari left Saudi Arabia one week before with the help of some of his associates to settle in Britain beside Saad al-Faqih.
