Donors' conference for Palestinian refugees opened in Amman

The non-official Conference of the Donor and Host Countries of the Palestinian refugees opened its deliberations in Amman yesterday with the participation of 28 countries and international organizations

The General Commissioner of UNRWA Peter Hansen, for his part, said that the deficiency of the budget was decreased to a great degree adding that the emergency situation previously announced by UNRWA is ongoing in Palestine's occupied West Bank as an outcome of the unemployment, poverty and the demolishing of houses by the Israeli occupying troops.
