Beirut Arab assembly callls for releasing Palestinian diplomats held in Iraq by coalition

The Arab Assembly on backing Palestine and Iraq has called UN Secretary General Kofi Annan to exert efforts to release the members of the Palestinian diplomatic mission which were arrested by the US occupying troops in Iraq.

In a memo addressed to Annan yesterday, the assembly stressed that arresting the mission is a violation to international laws and Geneva Convention.
