Al-Watan: AL chief deplores Israeli practices

Originally published

Arab League secretary General Amr Moussa has criticized the policy of the Israeli government, pointing out that all the evidences indicate that Israel has no intention to realize peace.

In a statement issued today by Saudi Newspaper al-Watan, Moussa insisted on the Palestinian resistance legitimacy in facing the Israeli occupation. He called the Quartet Committee to interfere in order to control the situation inside the Palestinian territories.

He stressed that Israel should withdraw from the lands that are under the Palestinian authority control, stop the assassination operations, and stop the building of the separation wall in order for peace to prevail in the region.

Moussa also rejected the Israeli decision to expel the Palestinian Leader Yaser Arafat, considering the Israeli call to kill Arafat is a call to continue terrorism and violation in the Palestinian occupied lands.
