Damascus hosts children conference

Under the patronage of Patriarch Gregarious III Laham, Patriarch of the Greek Orthodox Church, the 11th international Conference of the Children under the motto "Peace is Me, You and We, Let's Build it with Children" opened in Damascus on Wednesday. Deputy General Patriarch, Isedor Patekha represented Patriarch Laham in the opening ceremony.

The participants at the conference stressed the importance of giving children all needed care and attention in order to raise them up in a healthy environment ion order for them to contribute positively in their societies.
