Al-Shara - Obeid hold consultation talks

Lebanese Foreign Minister Jean Obeid has conferred with Syria's Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara yesterday in Beirut on the agenda of the 120th ordinary session of Arab Foreign Ministers' Council scheduled to be held in Cairo on the 9th and 10th of September, Lebanon's National Information Agency reported today.

The agency added that the consultations made during a telephone call covered the situation in Iraq and the Arab stance vis-a-vis the Iraqi interim ruling council.
