More than 330 kg of hashish seized in northern Morocco

Some 330 kg of cannabis extract, locally known as chira, were seized last weekend in the Moroccan northern city of Tangiers. Five people, including three Moroccan-born Frenchmen, were arrested while trying to smuggle the banned substance to Europe.

The Moroccan authorities dismantled recently a large-scale drug trafficking network and arrested several government officials and judges involved with the web.
