Oman - Yemen encourage private sector cooperation

"A working session between Omani-Yemeni businessmen was held at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) Salalah branch today, within the context of the current visit of Hadhrmout Governor to the Sultanate," the official Omani news agency ONA reported.

Naif bin Omer al Rowas, OCCI board member and chairman of the OCCI Salalah Branch "said the private sectors in both the countries look forward to carrying out their role in developing bilateral cooperation and stimulate the agreements signed between the two chambers," the report said.

The report added "He pointed to the developmental renaissance witnessed by the two countries in trade fields, including establishing of A’den and Salalah container terminals and Al Mazionah Free Trade Zone and others."
