Hours burial, two Iraqi flags wrapping Ode, Qusai coffins disappear
The disappearance of two Iraqi flags which were wrapping the coffins of Ode and Qusai Saddam Hussein in Al-Auja village provoked the anger of the citizens who accused the American soldiers of stealing them just hours after burial.
Walid al-Jasem, a shopkeeper, said "no body here will do that," denying that one of the villagers got the two flags as a token.
Eye witnesses said that the two flags over the tombs of Ode and Qusai disappeared while the third flag is still over Mustafa's tomb and some stones were place around the three tombs.
On the other hand, the religious authority in Tikrit announced not performing of the eulogy which was due yesterday to accept condolences on the death of Ode, Qusai and Mustafa. The Imam of Saddam al-Akbar mosque, Sheikh Yahya Ibrahim al-Atawi said that he had taken this decision after his meeting with one of the tribal chieftains, Mahmoud al-Nada, to which Saddam Hussein affiliates after the Americans had refused this measure.
On the other hand, the US administrator of Iraq Paul Bremer said on Saturday that the man who gave relations which led to killing of Ode and Qusai on July 22nd in Musil was taken outside Iraq with his family. Bremer added that he is waiting for one of the Iraqis to come and inform the US army about the place where Saddam Hussein is to get a large financial reward.
