Syrian- Lebanese joint efforts to achieve peace underlined

Lebanese Mufti Sheikh Muhammad Rashid Qabbani has stressed that Syria and Lebanon have been working in order to reach just and comprehensive peace in the region and to "foil the Israeli plots."

He asserted yesterday in Beirut that solidarity with Syria is necessary to face the Israeli dangers threatening Lebanon asserting that solidarity with Syria is the Lebanese first and last choice.
