Syrian- German transport and tourism cooperation

Syria's Tourism Minister Sa'ad Allah Agha al-Kalaa met yesterday in Damascus a delegation of German Terckon Company which specializes in investments and real estates.

Talks during the meeting dealt with the investment situation and the possibility of establishing tourist projects in Syria.

The Minister briefed the delegation with the wide variety of tourist revenues that are based on the natural, cultural and historic treasures in Syria.

He presented the delegation with an explanation about the new decrees and laws issued recently in order to provide the basic pillar of encouraging the tourist industry.

For their part, the delegation expressed their wish to make studies in Syria because Syria is distinguished with a great environmental variety, and this gives suitable spheres to establish a number of tourist investment projects.
