Morocco and Spanish local government of Catalunia to sign agriculture agreement

Morocco and the Spanish local government of Catalunia will sign next week an agreement on cooperation in agriculture, during an official visit to Morocco this Feb.17-19 by local minister of agriculture, stockbreeding and fisheries, Josep Grau.

The agreement on cooperation in agriculture, rural development, training and technology transfer will be signed by the Spanish official and Moroccan minister of agriculture and rural development, Mohand Laenser.

The Spanish local official is also scheduled to meet political and economic figures.

Grau's visit will coincide with a trip to Morocco by a trade delegation comprising representatives of ten major Catalan enterprises operating in the agro-food industry.
