Al-Anbaa: American, German forces arrive in Kuwait

The Kuwaiti ministry of defense stressed yesterday that American and German forces arrived in Kuwait, adding that this comes in the context of the security agreements finalized by Kuwait and the two said countries.

The Kuwaiti daily al-Anbaa issued yesterday quoted a well-informed source at the ministry of defense as saying that these forces will conduct joint exercises in the context of an already coordinated plan.

On Thursday, an American military spokesman said that new fortifications representing the American forces arrived in Kuwait on Wednesday but without defining its number or formations.
