Al-Assad confers with Berri, Franjieh

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad received yesterday in Damascus Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri and Lebanese Minister of Health Solieman Franjieh.

Talks during the two meetings dealt with the situation in the Middle East and issues of mutual concern.
