Pan-Islamic body awards distinction to Mauritanian president

The Rabat-based Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) awarded its Grand Medial to President Mouaouiya Ould Sid Ahmed Tahay of Mauritania. The distinction pays homage to the Mauritanian President's contribution to consolidating Islamic joint action, ISESCO said in a release.

The Medal was handed to President Ould Taya by ISESCO Director General at a ceremony held in Nouakchott.
