Syria-Qatar sign oil and gas agreement

A protocol for cooperation in sphere of oil and gas was signed on Wednesday between Syria and Qatar.

According to the protocol which was signed by Deputy minister of Oil and Mineral Resources, Ibrahim Haddad, and Qatari Minister of Energy and Industry, Abdullah Ben Hamad Attiya, a joint technical committee will be formed in order to make field visits to increase the cooperation opportunities particularly in spheres of expertise exchange and training between the two states.
