Bahrain announces hosting the next Arab summit, March 2003

An official at the Bahraini foreign ministry has stated that the Kingdom will host the Arab summit on March 24, in line with the resolution of the Beirut Arab summit and the need to convene the periodic summit in March every year.

Bahrain's news agency quoted the same well-informed source as saying that the Kingdom started to take necessary preparations to host the Arab leaders and to convene the summit at it due time and place.
