AL chief confers with Bin Billa
The secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa yesterday discussed in Cairo former Algerian President Ahmad Bin Billa developments concerning the Iraqi issue and the explosive conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Following the meeting Bin Billa warned that the US striking of Iraq will be of grave consequences not only against the Iraqi people but against the Arab nation as a whole. He stressed that attacking Iraq will be an introduction for directing attacks against other Arab states.
He called on the Arab nation to express its rejection of the American threats against Iraq and to mobilize all potentials to withstand these threats.
For his part. Moussa stressed that danger is still overshadowing Iraq and that all possibilities exist, under the US threats to attack it.
