Egyptian information ministry denies confiscating Lebanese magazine

An official source in the Egyptian information ministry denied reports to the effect that the Egyptian authorities had confiscated the Lebanese al-Adab magazine. The source described these reports as groundless noting that the magazine is now on the market. This comes following reports that the Lebanese magazine Zawaya issue was banned recently.

He maintained that Egypt is now enjoying an atmosphere of freedom of expression which is the essence of democratic practice.
