Arafat removes Nuseibah from Jerusalem post

Palestinian sources stressed yesterday that the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat removed Surri Nuseibah from his responsibility for Jerusalem file during a meeting held several days ago with Palestinians responsible for this file.

The same sources added that Arafat gave the "Jerusalem file" for Samir Ghoushe who was appointed by Arafat on October 29th as an official for Beit al-Sharq ( Orient House), the semi official headquarters for the PLO in occupied Jerusalem.

The Palestinian sources added that Arafat has formed a new committee for Jerusalem under his chairmanship and composed of nine members and abrogated previous committees responsible for the city.
