Moussa calls for pan Arab action to facing challenging

Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa yesterday stressed that stances which Syria's President Bashar al- Assad declared during his visits to London and Paris reflect a strategic view towards Arab causes and express the Arab rejection of any military action against Iraq as well as the continous Israeli occupation of the Arab territories and its aggression on the Palestinian people.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Cairo yesterday, Moussa pointed out Syria's important role on the Arab and international levels in these critical circumstances.

Moussa also stressed the necessity of activating the Arab action for facing the standing challenges.

The AL Chief expressed Arab League's appreciation over Syria's adherence to the Arab's principled stances, Arab rights and the achievement of a just and comprehensive peace according to the International law and the Arab peace initiative.
