Russian writers for cooperation with Arab counterparts

President of the union of the Russian writers Valery Ganich yesterday in Moscow praised the standing Arab - Russian deep cultural relations and the effective cooperation between the Russian writers union and the writers union in Syria and a number of Arab states.

On the occasion of the 4th session of the council of the Arab culture of the Russian writers union and the first death anniversary of the Russian Professor of philosophy, Edward Volodin.

Ganich expressed gratitude to the Syrian embassy in Moscow for rendering the visits of the Russian writers to Syria successful.

For his part the deputy president of union of the Russian writers affirmed that the council of the Arab culture of the union "represents a unique phenomenon in the Russian cultural life" stressing that it works for the consolidation of the historical communication between the two cultures and supports the Arab nation causes."
