Yemeni president to visit Lebanon

The Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh will pay an official visit to lebanon on December 19 and 20 at the invitation of the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud.

The Yemeni ambassador to Lebanon Ahmad Abdullah al-Baha said in a statement yesterday following his meeting with the Lebanese foreign minister Mahmoud Hammoud that the visit is important and comes at a time when the Arab states need to meet and hold consultation, besides the significance of the Yemeni- Lebanese relations.

The Yemeni ambassador also indicated that during the visit several agreements will be finalized between the two states.
