American embassies get more logistic support
The American embassies in each of Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Morocco, Yemen, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Israel, all in the Middle East received logistic support during the past 30 days that exceeds the continued support they had received following the incidents of September 11, 2001.
This was reflected in increasing doubling the number of guards at these embassies and increasing the number of the American foreign intelligence and the FBI by 80%.
The Kuwaiti daily al-Seyasah issued yesterday said that British and German diplomatic sources in the NATO in Brussels quoted the US military intelligence working in the NATO as saying that the security authorities expect terrorism operations of new types and different methods against its citizens, military bases and economic interests in these capitals, with the approaching final preparations for the war against Iraq into the phase of actual implementation and launching of the war following the Christmas and the new year celebrations.
These intelligence sources described the relations between the US administration and each of Lebanon, Syria and Yemen as deteriorating gradually because of not responding to the American demands in attacking "terrorist aggregations" effectively. A matter which constitutes a real danger on the US diplomatic and trade interests, and therefore obliging Washington to use force.
