Al-Anbaa: no delay in the Sudanese negotiations
The Sudanese charge de affairs in Nairobi, al-Dardeiri Muhammad Ahmad al-Fateh, has stressed that the current peace negotiations between the Sudanese government and the rebels on Sunday discussed the issue of sharing resources.
In a statement to the Sudanese daily al-Anbaa issued yesterday, al-Fateh said that the negotiations are proceeding smoothly according to the set agenda, noting that by the end of next week the issue of the authority in which many items were settled, will be also discussed.
He denied any intention to extend the negotiations until January 4, 2003.
