Mubarak confers with Iraqi FM

President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt yesterday discussed with the Iraqi foreign minister Naji Sabri latest developments of the Iraqi issue in light of the recent resolution of the UN Security Council concerning Iraq and means of reaching a political solution for the Iraqi issue.

Following the meeting, the Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Maher stressed the need of the return back of UN inspectors to Iraq as soon as possible in order to resume their mission objectively and honoring Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
