US freezes assets of 12 Sudanese companies

The US treasury department on Monday announced freezing assets of some 12 Sudanese companies including the "Sudan's National Broadcasting Corporation," without giving any reason to justify this measure.

The list includes other Sudanese companies which take Um Durman and al- Khartoum as headquarters.
