King of Bahrain: No backtrack from our agenda
"Your future is drawn by the elections, therefore take part in it,"" Polling boxes are waiting for your positive participation,"" the elections are an opportunity to select the decision makers," These are the common slogans shared by the streets and papers in Bahrain in a call which was also advocated by the King of Bahrain Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa in a reconciliatory speech he made yesterday, talking to his people urging them to ignore opposition voices which call for boycotting the elections.
" No backtrack" is the message of Bahrain in his speech in which he called on all Bahraini sides, to make assurances for the opposition, on the one hand, and to confirm for those who are classified in Bahrain as "old guards" that he will persists in continuing his project.
The king's message to the opposition was a renewed call "to extend their hands to us the way we extend our hands to them," while the king's message to the government, headed by his uncle Sheikh Khaleifa Bin Salman al-Khaleifa, was that it is the right of the citizens to choose on taking part or boycotting the elections and no force is to be used in practicing the rights.
