Seven Algerians assassinated

The Algerian dailies issued yesterday said that an armed group slaughtered 7 Algerian citizens and kidnapped other five at a barrier installed near Ein Kashra town in Skikda province, 500 Km to the east of the capital Algiers.

The Algerian paper al-Shourouq said that a large armed group wearing the costumes of the municipal guards attacked the victims at a countryside road in a remote area on Sunday evening.

The daily Le Matin said that members of the armed groups led by Rasheed Abu Turab were recently arrested in Skikda.
