American military units exposed to fire in North Kuwait

The US embassy in Kuwait announced on Monday that American military units in north Kuwait were exposed to fire from two civilian cars, saying that the incident took place at 7.50 a..m ( local time ) and that nobody was wounded as a result of the shooting which was repulsed by the American forces.

The statement indicated that the Kuwaiti ministry of the interior, the defense ministry and the leadership of the American forces in Kuwait are making joint investigations in the incident.
