King Fahd accepts the resignation of a security official

Saudi Arabia's King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz has accepted the resignation of the chairman of the public intelligence in Saudi Arabia Lt. Gen. Saleh Taha al-Khseifan.

The Saudi TV said that al-Khseifan called for retirement and that King Fahd accepted the request and appointed him as a consultant ( at a grade of a minister). The resignation came following the killing of a German in an explosion in his car in Riyadh. The TV did not relate the explosion to the resignation.
