Official source denied the killing of Abu Nidal

An official source in Fatah, the revolutionary council in Lebanon, has denied the killing of the leader of the Fatah movement-- the revolutionary council -- Sabri al-Banna, ( known as Abu Nidal).

The correspondent of the Lebanese daily al-Nahar in Sidon quoted an official source in Abu Nidal group as saying that the news on assassinating Sabri al-Banna is categorically baseless and just a fabrication of hostile intelligence.

The source added that Abu Nidal is in good health and performing his militant duty, and that it is not the first and only time in which "enemy sides launch such rumors to perpetuate treason deals" on the Palestinian arena.
