Russian - Kuwaiti oil talks

Meetings of the Russian- Kuwaiti joint government's committee which will deal with means of strengthening trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation started in Moscow on Monday. On the Russian side, the meetings were attended by the minister of oil and energy Igore Yousovov and the Kuwaiti side by the minister of information and acting oil minister Ahmad Fahd al-Ahmad al-Sabah.

An expert in the participating Russian delegation in the meetings said that the committee's talks also deal with means of the participation of the Russian companies in the project of investing oil fields in the north of Kuwait, estimated at a cost of USD 8 billions.
