Israeli Organization warn Israel of war crimes trials

Uri Avnery, leader of the Israeli Peace Organization Gosh Shalom told the French Liberation newspaper yesterday that the organization is sending messages to the Israeli officers and soldiers warning them that many of their acts in the Palestinian territories could be considered war crimes.

ÊÊÊ He added that international law had precisely defined a war crime as any act that violates Geneva Convention, accusing the Israeli army of breaching these conventions through taking part and protection of settlements, demolition of Palestinian homes and expulsion of Palestinian citizens.
