German naval vessels in Somalia

The German military spokesman said on Friday that a new contingent from the German Naval forces arrived in Kenya in order to help in monitoring the arriving and departing ships to Somalia, as part of the war led by the US against terrorism.

Martin said that the German force which is composed of naval pilots and aviation teams will spend the three next months on missions of air surveillance of the Somali coasts, noting that this very contingent will replace another one whose mission has been already finished.
