Algeria: six persons killed in two attacks

The Algerian dailies issued on Thursday said that five persons were killed while one was wounded on Tuesday evening by an armed group in Gleizan's quarters to the west of the capital Algiers.

Armed Islamists riding a car opened machine gun fire at people spending leisure time. This area, however, is considered a strong hold for the armed Islamic group.

Meantime, an Algerian security source said that an armed group assassinated on Thursday a police man in Tazrout.
