Ebeid to receive study from GAFI on setting up free zone in Toshka

Establishing an agriculture free zone in Toshka is the subject of the latest report, by the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI)

ÊÊÊ The report, which is to be submitted to Prime Minister Atef Ebeid, outlines means of raising agricultural exports while takings advantage of GAFI concessions.

ÊÊÊ During a follow-up meeting on free zones, GAFI chief Mohamed El-Ghamrawi announced a petroleum storage facility and an oil refinery on the GAFI system.

ÊÊÊ The project will be financed by paid-up capital of $ 3 million and construction is expected to cost $ 8 million.
