Khaddam receives al-Barazi, agreement to end the sufferings of Iraq

Syria's vice President Abdul Halim Khaddam on Thursday received the chairman of the Iraqi Kurdistan Democratic Party Masoud al-Barazani and members of the accompanying delegation.

Discussions dealt with "the situation in the region and view points were identical on the need of ending the sufferings of the Iraqi people and preventing more dangers on them."
