Originally published

The secretary general of the Arab League (AL) Amr Moussa will pay a visit to each of Britain and Switzerland on April 15 through 18 of which he will stay on Monday and Tuesday in London to meet with the British foreign minister Jack Straw and then he will head for Geneva.

Well-informed diplomatic sources at the AL general secretariat said that Moussa will concentrate in his talks with Straw on current conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories and the need of having a European and international move to put an end to the policies of the Israeli prime minister.

The sources added that Mousa will hold expanded meetings and consultations during his visit to Geneva where he will be meetings with heads of the UN organizations especially the ICRC and the Human Rights.

The sources added that Mousa will also discuss the role played by these organizations in ensuring protection for the Palestinian people under the Israeli deliberate bombardment of the Palestinian civil establishments and hospitals and preventing the access of ambulances to rescue the wounded, acts which all are in contradiction with international norms and acts during times of war.
