Former Polisario military executive returns to homeland, Morocco

A former senior military executive of the polisario and former minister of health has returned to Morocco, an official source in Laayoune told MAP. Abdallah El Ghailani, from the Oulad Dlim tribe, took advantage of a trip to Las Palmas, Canary Islands, to flee and return to Laayoune Wednesday afternoon. El Ghailani, who was minister of the polisario during the 1980's, is father to four children, three of them are still sequestered in Tindouf, south-western Algeria.
