Casablanca, Kuala Lumpur set up exchange program
Local authorities of the Moroccan economic capital city of Casablanca and the town council of Kuala Lumpur agreed last week on an exchange program to foster cooperation between the two cities.
The program was set up at a meeting between president of the urban commune of Casablanca, Saad El Abbasi, and mayor of Kuala Lumpur, Mohamd Shaid Bin Tauffek.
The two cities agreed to back and encourage exchanges between the two cities in the fields of urban sanitation and planning, tourism, transport and environment protection.
Casablanca and Kuala Lumpur had signed in 1992 a twinning agreement.
