Demonstrations in Bahrain calling for close of US embassy

Hundreds of Bahraini people demonstrated on Sunday over the US bias to Israel.

More than 300 Bahraini students called on the Bahraini government during a demonstration before the UN office in al-Manama to close the US embassy, and the demonstrators chanted slogans like " down the US."

On the other hand, one Bahraini died on Sunday following wounds he had when the demonstrators threw stones and explosives at the main premises of the US embassy on Friday and fire was set in cars inside the embassy's complex.

One member of the family of the deceased said the Muhammad Jum'aa died on Sunday morning at al-Suleimaneyah hospital in al-Manama. On the other hand, the Bahraini minister of Information Nabil al-Homor stressed the death of the said Bahraini citizen.
