Syrian prime minister receives TOTAL ELF regional director

The Syrian prime minister Muhammad Mustafa Miro on Wednesday received the director of the Middle East area for the French Oil Total Elf company Philip Powaso and members of the accompanying delegation.

Discussions dealt with co-operation relations between Syria and Total Elf in oil fields especially through production, exploration, training and qualification, the use of advanced technology programs in the areas of oil exploration, training of Syrian specialists and the possibility of installing a center for oil studies in Damascus.
