A meeting is expected between Iraq, Kuwait foreign ministers

The BBC correspondent in Beirut said on Tuesday that the foreign ministers of Iraq would have met on Tuesday his Kuwaiti counterpart.

The correspondent quoted the spokesman for the Arab summit as saying that an atmosphere of amity prevailed during the speeches made by the two ministers.

The correspondent also quoted the Lebanese foreign minister Mahmoud Hammoud as saying that he is sure that solutions can be attained and that there is a positive atmosphere between Kuwait and Iraq, stressing that the two sides are working with the secretary general of the Arab League for strengthening the Arab interests.
