Tunisia's Ben Ali gets message from King Mohammed
President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali of Tunisia received on Monday a message from King Mohammed VI. "The message falls in the frame of the traditions of consultation between the two sisterly countries and the follow-up of dossiers of mutual concern, at the bilateral and regional scales in addition to international topical issues," said the Tunisian news agency TAP.
The royal message was handed to the Tunisian President by director of the royal office and special envoy of the sovereign, Mohamed Rochdi Chraibi.
The Tunisian foreign minister and Morocco's ambassador to Tunisia attended the meeting.
Morocco and Tunisia are both member of the Arab Maghreb Union (UMA) that also musters Algeria, Libya and Mauritania.
