Nasrullah denies reaching agreement with Israel on prisoners issue

The secretary general of the Hizbullah party Hussein Nasrullah has denied news which talked about reaching partial agreement though one of the German mediators concerning the exchange of the Lebanese prisoners and detainees in the Israeli occupation jails.

In a statement he made on Tuesday evening in Beirut, Nasrullah said that the stand of the Hizbullah party towards this important issue is declared and known and therefore such news are groundless.

On the other hand, Nasrullah received a delegation representing the Palestinian- Lebanese follow up committee in support of the Palestinian Intifada.

Stress, during the meeting, was made on national principles which are considered a victory for the Palestinian Intifada as not only a Palestinian gain, but also a Lebanese achievement..

Nasrullah said that supporting the Intifada, the right of return and rejection of settling the Palestinians are but an embodiment of a joint- Palestinian- Lebanese will.
