Originally published

The Palestinian Authority has called on the international community to "double efforts and political and diplomatic moves to halt the Israeli aggression against the unarmed Palestinian people."

Following its weekly meeting in Ramullah, the Palestinian Authority called in a statement issued on Thursday evening urging the international community and the countries concerned in security and stability in the Middle East to double their efforts to halt the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.

The Palestinian Authority added in its statement that "we appeal to the UN Security Council which is in charge of maintaining security and stability at the international level to immediately move to protect security and stability and the peace process in the region and the importance of sending UN observers to the Palestinian territories in order to open the way before resuming peace negotiations under the auspices of the UN."

The Palestinian Authority considered that this Israeli escalated aggression including the acts of killing, assassination, bombardment, and destruction have exceeded all limits and all "red lines."
