Maher confers with Vidovin

Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Maher on Wednesday in Cairo discussed with the Russian envoy for the Middle East peace process Andre Vidovin developments in the region in light of the escalated Israeli practices against the Palestinian people.The two sides discussed several Russian ideas to ease down the deteriorated conditions in the Palestinian territories, and to revive the peace process between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.

During the meeting the Russian envoy handed Maher a message from the Russian foreign minister Igor Ivanov in which he stressed the importance of making efforts to eliminate the current situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
