Qatar, Kuwait gas deal

Qatar and Kuwait signed a deal worth an estimated $2 billion yesterday to export around 1 billion cubic feet per day of Qatari natural gas to Kuwait by year 2005 through a submarine pipeline to feed electricity generation stattions Kuwait plans to build, Gulf News reported today.
